Dakota Plains Taxidermy was started in 2002 after Dale completed a taxidermy coarse with Northwest Iowa school of Taxidermy in Spirit Lake IA.
Dale has always had a passion for hunting and fishing so he decided to make a career as a taxidermist. Upon starting the business, he also started competing.
Dale continues competing and attending seminars to learn new techniques. Dakota Plains Taxidermy is not just another taxidermy studio. The closer you look the better we look. Dale is committed to preserving your trophies with high quality work using the best materials and techniques at a reasonable price.
The average project turnaround time is 6 to 8 months from the time he receives the specimen and 50% deposit. Along with keeping the prices reasonable with high quality work, Dale also tries to keep the shipping prices reasonable.
